JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Manager, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis will own the day-to-day execution of core Corporate FP&A processes, with a primary focus on forecast consolidation, monthly reporting, financial reviews and analysis. Success in this role requires accurate documentation and consolidation of forecasts, timely and reliable reporting, disciplined variance analysis, and strong coordination across Finance and business partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the consolidation of company forecasts, budgets and financial outlooks, ensuring submissions are complete, documented, internally consistent and delivered on schedule.
- Own the monthly FP&A reporting process, including preparation and quality review of management reports, variance explanations, trend analysis, risks and opportunities, and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate monthly financial reviews with Finance and business partners, track follow-up items and ensure issues are resolved or appropriately reflected in the forecast.
- Analyze actual and forecast financial performance to identify key drivers, variances, trends and emerging risks, and summarize findings for FP&A leadership.
- Maintain forecast documentation, assumptions, version control and supporting analyses to strengthen transparency, auditability and forecast discipline.
- Partner with Accounting during the monthly close to ensure actual results are properly understood and incorporated into FP&A reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate inputs from Operations FP&A, Commercial Finance and functional finance partners into a consolidated enterprise financial view.
- Manage and develop Corporate FP&A team members while continuously improving reporting, consolidation and analytical processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance or related experience, including 5+ years of management experience.
- Hands-on experience with financial consolidation, forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, variance analysis and management reviews.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with strong attention to accuracy, documentation and detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recurring financial processes, multiple deadlines and cross-functional inputs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate financial results into clear, concise insights.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
- MBA, CPA or other relevant advanced degree/certification.
- Experience in a high-growth, public-company or IPO-readiness environment.
- Experience with Adaptive Planning, Tableau or comparable planning and reporting tools.
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory services or another operationally complex business.
