Summary:

Archwell Capital is a private investment management company founded in 2013 by business builders. It provides active capital across financial services, real estate, technology, and professional sports. The company invests for the long term, works alongside the management teams of the businesses it owns and backs, and brings the experience of leaders who have built and run companies of their own.

The Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications owns how Archwell Capital and its portfolio companies are presented, found, and understood in the market. The role is accountable for the marketing, content, and brand presence that support these businesses' growth, so that its results can be tied to business performance. It serves Archwell Capital and the portfolio companies that do not have their own marketing resource, and it includes helping launch new businesses from the ground up. The role is approximately 45% marketing and content, 15% marketing operations, and 40% brand, reputation, and communications support. The Senior Manager supports the Head of Communications, who leads media relations and directs the public relations agency, and works with the Creative Director and IT on design and web implementation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing and Content (approximately 55%):

  • Write and edit marketing and web content for Archwell Capital and for portfolio companies that do not have their own marketing resource, including website pages, one-pagers, presentations, and brochures.
  • Develop social media content, and manage or help manage the social media accounts for Archwell Capital and for portfolio companies that do not have their own resource.
  • Develop blog posts, white papers, and other thought leadership that builds the company's authority and strengthens search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO).
  • Own search and AI-search visibility. Review how the company and its portfolio companies appear in search results and AI-generated answers, and create content that addresses gaps and confusion with similarly named businesses.
  • Develop and send email campaigns for Archwell Capital and for portfolio companies that need them.
  • Support trade shows, conferences, and company events, including materials, sponsor and registration logistics, and follow-up.
  • Support new and existing portfolio companies. For new businesses launching from the ground up, develop website copy and messaging and work with the Creative Director on visual identity and design. Create launch content for acquisitions that join Archwell Capital.
  • Set up and manage Google Analytics for Archwell Capital and for portfolio companies that do not already have it. Report on website traffic, search visibility, and content performance, and measure the effect of news events and any paid social campaigns, including the relationship between spend and results.

Marketing Operations (approximately 15%):

  • Maintain a marketing and communications calendar and an intake process for requests from Archwell Capital and its portfolio companies, giving leadership a single view of marketing activity.
  • Run the processes that give employees business cards, templates, and other collateral, including brand and compliance review. This work was previously provided through shared services.
  • Work with the Creative Director on graphics, presentations, and web design, and with IT on website implementation. Evaluate whether the company needs a content management system and, if it adopts one, lead its selection and rollout.
  • Coordinate outside agencies and freelancers on overflow projects, including briefs, timelines, and review.

Brand, Reputation, and Communications Support (approximately 30%):

  • Control how Archwell Capital and its portfolio companies appear on third-party sites that shape reputation, including PitchBook, CB Insights, Crunchbase, LinkedIn, and employer review sites such as Glassdoor and Indeed (in partnership with Human Resources). Keep profiles claimed, accurate, consistent, and monitored. Support a Wikipedia page, in accordance with Wikipedia's conflict-of-interest and disclosure guidelines.
  • Write and maintain executive and company biographies, boilerplate, fact sheets, and question-and-answer documents, and keep a newsroom and press kit of approved messaging, biographies, and images.
  • Draft announcements, press releases, and other written materials, and prepare background materials for the Head of Communications.
  • Supply the Head of Communications and the public relations agency with approved materials and content, and keep owned channels such as the website, newsroom, and profiles consistent with media coverage.
  • Manage a communications page on the company intranet that collects media and industry coverage, built with Palantir Foundry and engineering resources.
  • Support the development and maintenance of communications policies and procedures, including crisis communications, in partnership with the Head of Communications and other stakeholders.
