Job Summary

This job focuses on managing advertising platform operations and leading a team to ensure efficient ad delivery. It involves process optimization, stakeholder education, and partnership development. The role is essential for maintaining service levels and supporting sales efforts.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage daily operations and troubleshoot issues on advertising platforms
  • Leading a team of ad platform specialists, ensuring effective management across various delivery systems
  • Analyzing operational metrics for reporting to leadership and optimizing team workload
  • Maintaining accuracy in advertising execution and enforcing workflow processes for smooth operations
  • Adhering to service level agreements and contributing to the development of operational strategies
  • Mastering end-to-end traffic processes to address escalated content and inventory delivery concerns
  • Recruiting and training new analysts to support the growth and scalability of operations
  • Educating stakeholders on advertising platform management and execution expectations
  • Creating process enhancements to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in digital Advertising Operations, Programmatic Trading, or a related role at a DSP, SSP, agency trade desk, ad network, or publisher.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a team, with demonstrated ability to coach employees, set priorities, and deliver through others.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising industry value chain and programmatic buying models.
  • Hands-on knowledge of programmatic campaign management, including setup, trafficking, pacing, optimization, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of programmatic standards and specifications, including VAST and OpenRTB.
  • Experience using data and reporting to evaluate performance, identify trends, and make optimization or operational decisions.
  • Experience with SQL and the ability to work effectively with technical and analytical partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort engaging clients, senior leaders, and varied cross-functional audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, collaborate across functions, and drive joint goals in local and remote working environments.
  • Strong ownership, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving, continuous learning, and process improvement.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Buyer Cloud or another demand-side platform.
  • Experience working with Python and APIs.
  • Experience developing KPI or OKR frameworks and using them to manage operational performance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Jira, Aha!, and Confluence.
  • Experience creating scalable operating processes, documentation, training, or automation for an AdTech managed service organization.

Compensation

Pay Range: This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $125,097.72 - $166,796.96 USD.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
