About Button Since 2018, Button has been building reliable technology for government and private-sector clients with the goal of creating a more sustainable future through digital transformation. We create secure, easy-to-use systems through deliberate consideration and iteration. Button Inc. was born out of a desire to take complex tasks and ideas and deliver them in a genuine, innovative, and impactful way. We help clients tackle hard problems and delight them with user-focused design and exceptional technical delivery. We start every engagement by making sure we’re solving the right problem with the most appropriate technical solution to meet our client’s needs. About The Opportunity Button is looking to support a government client undertaking a long-term digital modernization program to replace disconnected legacy regulatory systems and reduce technical debt. Rather than rebuilding existing applications one-for-one, the organization is creating secure, interconnected and sustainable solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, supported by a common data framework. We're looking for a Sr Microsoft developer with a minimum of 10 years experience in the ecosystem. You will lead the full solution lifecycle using an outcome-first approach. This includes defining the business problem and user needs; assessing data ownership, integrity, migration and integration requirements; mapping those needs to Microsoft 365 capabilities; and comparing potential solutions based on simplicity, sustainability, cost and governance. You will recommend an appropriate technology pattern with clear rationale and risk considerations, then design, test and implement the agreed solution using reusable and scalable components wherever possible. You will also prepare detailed documentation and provide hands-on knowledge transfer to support the solution’s long-term success. You work with business and technical teams to understand and recommend the most appropriate combination of Microsoft technologies to automate business processes, improve data access and reporting, and support the modernization of the organization’s regulatory capabilities. Technologies include Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power BI, Viva and Copilot.
