Sr. Telecom Procurement Analyst

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

Seeking a Sr. Telecom Procurement Analyst to support Enterprise IT Operations, Data Center initiatives, and Telecom Infrastructure projects within a large-scale enterprise environment. This individual will serve as the liaison between Procurement, Network Engineering, Telecom Providers, Infrastructure Teams, and Business Stakeholders to ensure the successful procurement, deployment, maintenance, and management of critical technology assets and services.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of IT procurement, vendor management, contract administration, telecom operations, invoice management, and infrastructure project support experience.

Key Responsibilities

Telecom & Network Infrastructure Support

• Support next-generation network initiatives focused on improving network redundancy, resiliency, and connectivity.
• Manage telecom service requests, including new installations, additions, disconnects, and circuit modifications.
• Coordinate with telecom carriers and suppliers to provision network services and connectivity.
• Schedule and coordinate onsite technical resources for installations, testing, turn-ups, office relocations, expansions, and closures.
• Support enterprise-wide network infrastructure activities across corporate locations, remote sites, and data centers.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Procure telecommunications hardware, software, maintenance agreements, and professional services.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement requests.
• Administer vendor contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, renewals, and service agreements.
• Partner with procurement and business teams to ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with telecom carriers, technology vendors, and service providers.

Data Center & Infrastructure Operations

• Support data center expansion, migration, consolidation, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
• Coordinate procurement and deployment activities for network and data center equipment.
• Assist infrastructure and engineering teams with hardware refreshes, upgrades, site audits, and technology implementations.
• Track and manage maintenance renewals and support contracts for infrastructure assets.

Financial & Invoice Management

• Review, validate, and process vendor invoices for telecom and infrastructure-related services.
• Support budget management activities related to hardware, software, maintenance, and telecom spend.
• Monitor recurring expenses and identify billing discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate coding, cost-center allocation, and invoice processing.

Stakeholder & Project Support

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, finance, procurement, and business teams to support ongoing initiatives.
• Communicate supplier updates, contract changes, and project status information to key stakeholders.
• Support multiple concurrent infrastructure and telecom projects while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Procurement experience.
• 3+ years supporting Telecom, Network Infrastructure, or Data Center environments.
• Experience managing purchase orders, requisitions, contracts, and renewals.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT operations within a large organization.
• Strong vendor management and supplier relationship skills.
• Experience reviewing and processing invoices.
• Knowledge of telecom services, network infrastructure, hardware, software, and maintenance agreements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with SAP Ariba.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting telecom carriers and network service providers.
• Exposure to data center operations and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Experience working within highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington D.C., DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
