Sr. Reliability Engineer (Hybrid)

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Senior IT Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of IT systems supporting construction and field operations. This role focuses on designing and maintaining resilient infrastructure across remote sites, field offices, and cloud platforms, enabling seamless project execution and operational continuity.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

• Designs and implements high-availability IT systems for field and office environments, including networking, cloud integration, and edge computing.
• Leads incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) for IT outages affecting operations.
• Develops and maintains monitoring and observability tools to ensure uptime and performance of critical systems (e.g., ERP, project management, GIS).
• Collaborates with construction, engineering, and field teams to align IT reliability with project timelines and safety standards.
• Automates infrastructure provisioning and recovery using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering or related field; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• 5 or more years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, site reliability or DevOps roles.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / DevOps Engineer or ITIL Foundation or SRE Practitioner preferred.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace), scripting, and automation.

• Experience supporting construction or industrial field operations is highly preferred.

$100,561.00 - $145,814.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
