We are looking for a commercially minded Sales/GTM Recruitment Consultant to build relationships with clients and candidates, and deliver high-quality recruitment across sales and go-to-market roles. You will manage the recruitment process from initial client briefing through to successful placement, combining business development, market knowledge and thoughtful candidate care.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new client relationships and grow existing accounts through targeted business development and consistent follow-up.
- Understand clients’ hiring needs, team structures and commercial goals, then agree clear role briefs and recruitment plans.
- Source, engage and assess candidates for sales and go-to-market positions, including roles across business development, account management, partnerships and revenue leadership.
- Use a range of sourcing methods, including professional networks, referrals, databases and direct outreach.
- Conduct candidate interviews, evaluate relevant experience and motivations, and provide clear, evidence-based shortlists to clients.
- Manage interviews, feedback, offers and negotiations, keeping clients and candidates informed throughout the process.
- Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and industry contacts, while developing knowledge of hiring trends and talent markets.
- Maintain accurate records of client and candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Work towards agreed business development, recruitment activity and placement targets.
Skills and experience
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sales or business development; recruitment experience focused on commercial or go-to-market roles is an advantage.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage clients and candidates at different levels.
- A consultative approach to business development and the ability to identify and respond to client needs.
- Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities.
- Strong interviewing, assessment and negotiation skills.
- Resilience, initiative and motivation to work towards measurable goals.
- Comfort using recruitment or sales technology, including ATS and CRM systems.
What success looks like
- Clients receive responsive, informed recruitment support and present relevant opportunities for future work.
- Candidates experience clear communication, timely feedback and professional guidance throughout the process.
- Recruitment searches progress efficiently, with placements that meet agreed role requirements.
- Business development and delivery activity contribute consistently towards team goals.
