The Impact of Sr. Software Engineering to Coupa: Senior Software engineers are the key contributor in complex projects and initiatives. They are responsible for quality software deliverables as per the timeline. They work closely with other team engineers and provide technical leadership/guidance to a small team. They are proficient in programming languages and technology in use by the team. They often participate in investigating complex problems and driving resolution. What You'll Do: As part of the development team, you will design, develop, and maintain core product and technical initiatives. You’ll collaborate with Product and Design teams to build features that solve real business problems, participate in code reviews for quality and maintainability, and thrive in an agile environment driven by quick iterations and continuous feedback. You'll also identify improvements across code, processes, and business logic, coordinate with support and professional services to resolve customer issues, and contribute to scaling the platform as the business grows. What You Will Bring to Coupa: 5-7+ years in enterprise software development with Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5; Python or AI experience is a plus. Proficient with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity), databases like MySQL and Redis, and monitoring tools such as New Relic. Experienced in AWS/EC2 or similar cloud environments. A passionate full-stack developer skilled in modern architecture, responsive UI design, and usability, capable of working independently and collaboratively with global teams.
