Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Annual Budget Preparation & E2E Team Coordination

E2E Budget Coordination Lead: Lead and coordinate the annual budget preparation cycle for the entire E2E procurement team across EMEA, aligning financial targets, Macro assumptions, cost models, and market projections.

Funding the Growth Savings Alignment: Consolidate, track, and validate cost reduction initiatives ('Funding the Growth'), ensuring savings projects across both Demand (Logistics) and Supply (MRO, Utilities, CapEx) categories are integrated into regional budget commitments.
Category Strategy & Strategic Sourcing

Develop and implement multi-year regional sourcing strategies for assigned Demand and Supply categories to achieve or exceed savings, simplification, and service level targets across EMEA.

Lead tactical and strategic tendering (RFIs, RFPs, e-Auctions) utilizing standardized e-Sourcing tools and templates.

Perform continuous spend analytics, market deep dives, and supplier benchmarking across EMEA countries and internal divisions.
Governance, Risk Management & Contract Execution

Ensure strict adherence to Global Procurement governance, including Contract Risk Management Committee (CRMC) approvals, Supplier Code of Conduct compliance, and ethical sourcing principles.

Lead contract execution and lifecycle management, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers.

Identify supply chain vulnerabilities across EMEA and develop proactive procurement risk mitigation plans.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) & Transformation

Maintain formal Supplier Segmentation and execute SRM programs with strategic vendors across logistics, MRO, utilities, and facility management.

Support Global/Regional Procurement transformation initiatives, including digital automation, p-card usage, e-invoicing, payment term optimization, and Master Data Management (MDM) approvals.

Manage regional Renewable Energy programs and sustainability initiatives across manufacturing facilities and logistics networks.
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement
The Senior Specialist interacts with cross-functional leadership across the EMEA region and global functions:

EMEA Procurement & Regional Leadership: Continuous alignment on strategy, budget milestones, and goal accomplishment.

Plant Engineering, Operations & Maintenance Teams: Collaborating on MRO, CapEx investments, and facility services specifications.

Logistics & Supply Chain Operations: Partnering on warehousing, freight tendering, carrier performance, and distribution planning.

Finance & Controlling: Lead coordination on annual budgeting, spend tracking, and cost savings validation.
Required Qualifications & Key Competencies
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or relevant field.
-
5+ years of strategic procurement experience covering E2E supply chain services (Logistics/Demand) and operational categories (MRO, Utilities, CapEx, Facilities/Supply), preferably in FMCG or industrial sectors.

Proven track record of coordinating multi-category annual budget preparation cycles and managing regional sourcing projects in EMEA.
Technical & Functional Competencies

Advanced Analytics & Financial Modeling: Expert in spend analytics, budget modeling, total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluation

Negotiation & Contract Management: Strong command of complex commercial negotiations, SLA formulation, and contract risk management.

Systems Proficiency: Practical knowledge of SAP, e-Sourcing suites (e.g., Ariba, Coupa), spend visualization software, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
Leadership Competencies

Cross-Functional Coordination: Ability to lead cross-functional alignment and drive annual budgeting initiatives across diverse teams.

Managing Ambiguity & Strategic Influencing: Proven capability to navigate complex matrix organizations and influence senior stakeholders across EMEA.
