In this role, you'll:


Join the Expense Management & Payments team and play a key role in delivering efficient and accurate financial transaction services across Transport.

Process payment and expense-related transactions, respond to stakeholder enquiries, resolve exceptions, and support financial operations to ensure services are delivered in line with internal policies, legislative requirements, and agreed service standards.
Manage a high volume of transactions, support audit and month-end activities, investigate and resolve outstanding items, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant outcomes.

Investigate and resolve transaction exceptions and aged outstanding items across Transport agencies.
Apply established procedures and controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and standards.

Support audit activities and identify issues requiring further review or escalation.

About you


• Experience in financial operations, high volume transaction processing, accounts payable, payments, or related finance functions.
• Sound understanding of financial policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Well-developed analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies quickly.
• Experience working across multiple systems and managing high-volume transactional workloads.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using SAP is desirable.
