Staff Accountant

This is a mid-shift role where you'll be a genuine member of our US finance team, supporting the US interests of our parent company in real time, not as a support act, but as part of the core team. 📋 What You'll Be Doing Preparing and recording journal entries across asset, liability, revenue, and expense accounts for multiple service locations Running month-end, quarter-end, and annual close procedures Preparing monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations Supporting external financial audits with schedules and documentation Pulling together ad-hoc expense variance explanations from transaction data Supporting process improvements and centralisation across the finance team Building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external stakeholders 🎯 What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required) 2+ years in accounting with increasing levels of responsibility Solid US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills. You know your way around a pivot table without having to look it up. CPA credential is a plus, not a dealbreaker Excellent attention to detail. You catch errors others walk straight past. Clear, confident communication. You can explain a variance without making everyone's eyes glaze over.
