  • Close and general accounting: Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including journal entries (payroll, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets), bank and intercompany reconciliations for assigned subsidiaries, and account analysis explaining significant fluctuations.
  • Cash and payment controls: Process vendor payments and expense reimbursements and verify vendor banking information in line with payment controls.
  • Tax: Assist with tax reconciliations and sales and use tax, GST, and VAT filings.
  • Controls and audit: Maintain documentation supporting internal controls, SOX compliance, and internal, external, and Roper audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred; recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered.
  • Understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines, research discrepancies, and analyze financial information.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset; works independently and collaborates well with the team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Accounting system experience preferred; Sage Intacct, multi-entity or multi-currency accounting, or software industry experience is a plus.
