Staff Accountant (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking a talented, hands-on Staff Accountant for a hybrid opportunity, bringing strong accounting fundamentals to support the company's accounting operations and work closely with senior financial leadership. The ideal candidate will bring solid accounting experience, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support financial reporting and accounting activities across multiple entities.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist with job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and related accounting activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and transactions using QuickBooks Desktop.
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities to support senior financial leadership and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, but exceptional experience considered.
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• QuickBooks Desktop experience required; proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or construction accounting experience, particularly job costing and WIP, a strong plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable utilizing new technology, including AI tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and learn new processes
