About the Role

This is a fully remote Staff Auditor seat for someone with about 18-24 months of public/firm experience. You will carry meaningful audit work alongside an existing remote teammate, communicate clearly, and grow toward senior-level ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute audit fieldwork and related accounting work with strong attention to quality, documentation, testing, and deadlines
  

• Prepare and organize workpapers; support financial statement and single audit deliverables under senior and leadership review
  

• Partner closely with an existing remote teammate as a dedicated remote team so questions and workflow stay inside the pod
  

• Communicate proactively with clients and internal teammates by email, phone, and video
  

• Keep engagements moving on a boutique turn cycle that moves faster than typical large-firm timelines
  

• Use audit research and AI tools as brainstorming aids while staying accountable for judgment, testing, and conclusions
  

• Take ownership of assigned sections, escalate thoughtfully, and follow through without constant oversight
  

• Build toward senior-level readiness through stronger ownership, cleaner work product, and the ability to support others over time
  

Requirements

• About 18-24 months of public/firm experience
  

• Non-profit audit experience preferred; exposure to financial statement audits and/or single audits is a plus
  

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  

• Strong written and verbal communication; remote success depends on clear updates, clean documentation, and not going quiet when something is stuck
  

• Self-starter who can carry real workload with a remote partner and still stay aligned with firm leadership
  

• Organized, deadline-driven, and motivated to grow quickly into broader ownership
  

• Thoughtful about quality: the firm values people who think through risk, testing, and conclusions rather than accepting tool output at face value
  

Benefits

• Base salary: $70,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
