As the Staff Clinician for LifeSmart Services, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct sessions with individuals seeking support related to neurodivergence (e.g., ADHD, autism spectrum, learning differences, executive functioning challenges)
- Provide neurodiversity-affirming psychoeducation, coaching, and brief counselling to help clients better understand their unique strengths, challenges, and experiences
- Deliver executive functioning coaching focused on areas such as organization, time management, prioritization, emotional regulation, planning, goal setting, and workplace effectiveness
- Support clients who are newly diagnosed, exploring neurodivergence, or seeking a deeper understanding of how neurodivergence impacts their daily lives, relationships, and overall well-being
- Help partners, caregivers, and family members develop effective communication strategies and practical approaches to supporting neurodivergent loved ones
- Assist clients in identifying and accessing appropriate workplace, educational, community, and wellness resources, supports, and accommodations
- Provide support in at least two additional LifeSmart areas such as parenting, relationships, eldercare, pre-retirement planning, grief and loss, stress and burnout, or career planning
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuity of care
- Contribute to the development of resource materials, educational content, and practical tools that support client success
- Document clinical interactions, resource recommendations, and service outcomes in alignment with organizational standards
What We're Looking For:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in adult mental health intervention, coaching, counselling, or psychoeducational support, with demonstrated experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and families
- Valid registration with a recognized professional regulatory body
- Strong understanding of neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based practices, with knowledge of ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, learning differences, and executive functioning challenges
- Expertise in solution-focused brief counselling, psychoeducation, coaching methodologies, and practical skill-building interventions
- Experience supporting clients with emotional regulation, workplace challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, burnout, and self-advocacy
- Knowledge of risk assessment and EFAP services is an asset
- Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French language skills are an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Interest in writing resource letters and developing educational tools and resources for clients
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, client-centered care and an interest in staying current with emerging neurodiversity research and best practices
