Staff Engineer - GTP - Chennai

Job Title: Staff Software Engineer(Golang) Experience: 9-12 Years Location: Chennai /Hybrid WFO 4days, WFH 1day About the Company: Our client is a fintech company that provides a platform for businesses to manage cross-border payments, including collections and payouts. Role Overview: We are seeking a talented Golang Developer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications using various programming languages for large-scale applications. Key Responsibilities: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 9+ years of experience in commercial software development in large distributed systems. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications on Golang for large-scale applications. Deep knowledge of Linux as a production environment. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures. Proficiency in OOP, including design patterns. Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services. Hands-on coder with experience building backend services that handle high-volume traffic. Strong understanding of system performance and scaling. Excellent communication skills, sharp analytical abilities, and proven design skills. Experience in data modeling in both Relational and NoSQL databases. Continuous refactoring of applications to ensure high-quality design. Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate, and execute releases with a good degree of predictability. Ability to scope, review, and refine user stories for technical completeness and to mitigate dependency risks. Passion for learning new things and solving challenging problems. Ability to get things done efficiently. Required Skills: Must-Have: Familiarity with the Golang ecosystem. Familiarity with any cloud platform and DSA Good-to-Have: Experience running web services at scale; understanding of systems internals and networking is a plus. Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS communication protocols.
