🩺 Staff Psychiatrist – Inpatient & Nursing Facility Rounds 📍 West Palm Beach, Florida | Onsite | Flexible Schedule AIMergency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team serving inpatient hospitals and nursing facilities throughout the West Palm Beach region. This opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist who values flexibility, autonomy, and collaborative patient care while making a meaningful impact within underserved and complex patient populations. Position Overview The Staff Psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up visits, and treatment coordination across multiple inpatient and nursing facility settings approximately 3–4 days per week. Responsibilities • Conduct psychiatric rounds in inpatient and skilled nursing facilities • Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, and primary care providers • Maintain accurate and timely documentation • Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination • Build strong clinical relationships with facility staff and patients Qualifications • MD or DO with Psychiatry residency training • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry • Active Florida Medical License or ability to obtain • DEA license preferred • Experience in inpatient psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or consult-liaison psychiatry preferred • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple facilities What We Offer • Flexible rounding schedule (3–4 days weekly) • Competitive compensation structure • Collaborative and supportive leadership team • Opportunity to work in diverse clinical environments • Meaningful patient impact within behavioral health care Location Primary coverage area includes West Palm Beach, Florida and surrounding communities.
