Staff Sales Account Specialist

Overview

Our client is a global technology company providing advanced semiconductor testing and measurement solutions.

Location: Kanagawa, Japan

They are seeking a Staff Sales Account Specialist to support business growth in the Japan market.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leading semiconductor manufacturers, research institutions, and global stakeholders while developing a rewarding career in technical sales.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers in Japan
• Promote semiconductor testing and measurement solutions to customers
• Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion activities
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms
• Work closely with engineering and service teams to support customer requirements
• Manage customer projects and provide regular updates on project progress
  
  
  

Job Requirements

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Engineering, Customer Support, Account Management, or related functions
• Native-level Japanese proficiency (required to communicate with customers, conduct business discussions, and build relationships in the Japan market)
• Business-level English proficiency (required to communicate with U.S. headquarters and global teams via meetings, calls, and emails)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to travel within Japan when required
  
  
  

Preferred

• Semiconductor, electronics, industrial equipment, or high-tech industry experience
• Technical sales, FAE, applications engineering, or customer-facing engineering experience
• Business development or new customer acquisition experience
• Experience working in a multinational environment

• Annual salary: JPY 5,000,000 – 6,500,000
• Attractive commission scheme (Target Commission: 50% of base salary)
