Staff Software Engineer

• Architect resilient healthcare cloud platforms across Google Cloud (GCP) and Kubernetes to guarantee high availability, rapid disaster recovery, and zero downtime for vital clinical and operational applications.
• Establish enterprise reliability standards by defining clear service level objectives (SLOs/SLIs) and error budgets, ensuring cross-functional engineering teams balance rapid innovation with system dependability.
• Streamline software delivery pipelines by designing automated, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) solutions and CI/CD patterns that eliminate manual effort and deliver secure features into clinicians' hands faster.
• Champion incident response and systemic recovery by guiding technical resolution during critical outages and conducting blameless retrospectives that protect ongoing patient care and operational continuity.
• Mentor and elevate engineering talent across the enterprise by establishing shared architecture playbooks, guiding complex design reviews, and fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Work Experience:

• 8 years in DevOps, Cloud, Platform, or SRE Engineering: Proven track record in production distributed systems, including at least 5 years dedicated to building automated, enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Expertise: In-depth, production-tested command of core GCP services (such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, IAM, and cloud networking) to deliver scalable, secure platforms.
• Production Kubernetes & Infrastructure-as-Code Mastery: Expert-level capability with Kubernetes orchestration and declarative provisioning via Terraform to run fault-tolerant, auto-scaling services.
