Role Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Consultant specialising in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) and Sterling File Gateway (SFG) to support enterprise-scale B2B integration and managed file transfer initiatives.

You will play a key role in the design, implementation, administration and optimisation of secure file transfer and EDI solutions, enabling business-critical data exchange between customers, suppliers, partners and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) environments.
• Implement and support IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) solutions.
• Develop and maintain business processes, workflows and integration components.
• Configure trading partner relationships and onboarding activities.
• Implement and support secure file transfer protocols including: SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTP/S, etc.
• Configure and manage certificates, encryption and security controls.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and provide advanced technical support.
• Perform platform upgrades, patching and system optimisation.
• Monitor file transfer activity and integration performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, integration teams, infrastructure teams and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit and compliance requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with: IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) and IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG)
• Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Knowledge of EDI standards such as: EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML
• Experience configuring trading partners and communication protocols.
• Strong understanding of secure file transfer architectures.
• Knowledge of encryption, digital certificates, PGP and security best practices.
• Experience working within large enterprise integration environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
