We are looking for a skilled Storage SRE / Storage L3 Engineer to join an in-house technology consultancy of a global consulting firm. In this role, you will take ownership of enterprise-scale storage ecosystems, driving reliability, automation, and continuous optimization across high-availability, globally distributed environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing Level 3 escalation, deep diagnostic troubleshooting, and on-call support for a large global distributed production environment and outage scenarios.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of deploying distributed and storage infrastructure, including new enterprise data center build-outs.
• Partnering with engineering teams to test, certify, and operationalize new hardware and software storage solutions.
• Eliminating manual operational toil by designing and building automation tooling using Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborating directly with third-party enterprise vendors to drive integration standards, hardware lifecycle tasks, and vendor escalations.
• Authoring high-standard documentation, operational procedures, and telemetry insights to scale operations effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience operating in senior-level infrastructure and SRE environments with high uptime and strict SLAs.
• Consultant mindset: proactive self-starter with the ability to diagnose complex root causes, challenge inefficient processes, and guide operational strategy.
• Strong automation-first perspective with practical experience adopting Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Clear, effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with globally dispersed engineering teams.

Must-Haves:

• Hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: Linux administration, NAS technologies (NFS, SMB), Block Storage Arrays, SAN Fabric and switches, Storage volume managers (VxVM/LVM), or Software-Defined Storage / Cloud technologies.
• Working knowledge of Unix, storage protocols (NFS, SMB, Fibre Channel), and network technologies (TCP/IP, CIFS, DNS, iSCSI).
• Fluency in Python for developing custom operational and automation tools.
• Track record of managing Level 3 production support and root-cause analysis in distributed enterprise setups.
• Professional working proficiency in English for daily communication.
