What Makes This Role Great

  • You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to some of SimuTech's most strategic customers.

  • You'll work closely with Strategic Account Managers to align engineering solutions with long-term customer objectives.

  • You'll help customers maximize the value of their simulation investments and drive measurable business outcomes.

  • You'll deliver impactful demonstrations, workshops, training sessions, and technical strategy engagements.

  • You'll directly influence customer adoption, account growth, retention, and overall success.

What You'll Do

Drive Strategic Customer Success

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned strategic accounts.

  • Develop trusted relationships with engineering, technical, and executive stakeholders.

  • Analyze customer workflows, business objectives, and technical challenges to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Partner with Strategic Account Managers to develop and execute account-specific technical strategies.

  • Support long-term account development through structured technical planning and engagement.

Enable Adoption & Business Growth

  • Guide customers through deployment and adoption of Ansys simulation solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to expand simulation usage across engineering teams and business units.

  • Define and track success metrics that demonstrate customer value and business impact.

  • Document technical engagement activities and ensure effective follow-through on action items.

  • Support account expansion efforts through technical expertise and customer advocacy.

Deliver Customer-Facing Technical Engagements

  • Deliver technical presentations, software demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions.

  • Consult with customers on simulation best practices, workflows, and implementation strategies.

  • Assess customer environments and recommend scalable technical solutions.

  • Help customers align simulation initiatives with broader business goals.

Collaborate Across the Business

  • Partner with consulting, support, training, and presales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Support account-based marketing and technical outreach initiatives.

  • Collaborate internally to align customer needs with SimuTech service and solution offerings.

  • Share customer insights and industry trends to support organizational growth.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience.

  • Experience using Ansys or similar CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM software solutions.

  • Strong understanding of simulation technologies and their application across engineering disciplines.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong customer-facing presentation and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to connect technical solutions to customer business objectives.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer engagements simultaneously.

  • Experience collaborating effectively with sales, consulting, support, and engineering teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Location: USA or Canada, remote
Travel: Up to 25%

Pay Range: $90,000-$140,000 (Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.)
