Job Title: US – Strategic Account Executive
Compensation Range: $160,000-200,000 + $160,000-200,000 Commissions (Depending on Experience)
What is the role?
You’ll spend about your time growing revenue with existing customers. The role is collaborative as you’ll work with Solutions Engineers, SDRs, Account Managers, Professional Services, Product Management, Legal, and Sales Ops to find opportunities, shape and validate solutions, and close new revenue. You’ll partner most closely with Account Managers because they know the current customers day to day, and together you’ll plan how to reach new teams and grow each account.
Who are you?
You have the ability to talk to Analysts, Data Engineers, and C-Suite with comfort. You won’t be building the product, but you can explain how it works in plain terms. You sell on value as opposed to features. You know how to ask the right questions to get the information you need in a deal. You are comfortable with using AI to keep organized, iterate solutions, and finalize proposals, but you still have an opinion and intuition. You are entrepreneurial, but you may not have ever been an entrepreneur. You have great relationships and are comfortable bringing them professionally when there’s a win-win. You advocate for yourself, the company, and your client with fair balance. Prior to sales, you may have worked as or in a Solutions role (consultant, architect, or engineer), Technical Account Manager, Business Transformation, or Management Consulting.
What are the key responsibilities?
Relationship and Program Management
Build strong relationships across users, champions, program owners, technical stakeholders, procurement teams, and executive sponsors.
Serve as the central point of coordination for customer initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and internal teams.
Establish clear objectives, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
Maintain momentum between meetings and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for commitments.
Act as the voice of the customer and share actionable feedback with Product, Engineering, Support, Education, and leadership.
Technical and Product Fluency
Develop a proficient working knowledge of Quid’s platform, product configuration, data sources, workflows, integrations, and AI capabilities.
Translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for business stakeholders.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and customer technical teams to document requirements, validate technical capabilities, and position solutions to customers and prospects.
Be able to see opportunities to resell a given package or offering to other customers and industries.
Contract Execution
Own sales strategy and execution for expansion. Collaborate with Account Managers to create opportunities and complete deals.
Manage deals through pricing, proposal development, contract preparation, procurement, legal, security and AI reviews, negotiation, signature, and internal handoff.
Maintain accurate expansion forecasts, clearly documenting risk, expected outcomes, last steps, next steps, and required support.
Growth Planning
Identify expansion opportunities based on customer outcomes, emerging business needs, additional use cases, and opportunities across departments or business units.
Multi-thread customer relationships to reduce reliance on a single contact and strengthen the overall partnership.
Lead commercial conversations and negotiations in partnership with the appropriate internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, contract, and activity information in Quid’s systems of record.
How will success be measured?
Quarterly expansion targets
Timely and successful contract execution
Product comfort and adoption
Forecast accuracy
Clear communication internally on obstacles, objections, and internal support needed to get deals closed
Ability to navigate outward and upwards within our existing customers to drive growth
Ability to build relationships and trust internally across functions
What is required to be considered?
7+ years of experience in service or value-based selling in SaaS, consulting, or professional services.
Experience selling in the multiple industries including but not limited to: pharma, retail, finance, or B2C brands
Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing (Top 10%/20% of the company)
