- Work collaboratively with Graybar branches, districts, sales teams, contract managers, suppliers, and internal business partners to execute Federal account strategies.
- Coordinate customer requirements across multiple sites, agencies, divisions, programs, and business units.
- Provide Federal Government and DOD market knowledge, sales direction, and training to districts, branches, and Field Account Managers as required.
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible sales, marketing, account management, or operating experience, preferably with significant Federal Government or DOD experience.
- Preferred working knowledge of DOD procurement and the unique requirements associated with selling to DOD agencies, installations, commands, and defense-related organizations.
- Preferred experience working with Federal prime contractors, systems integrators, defense contractors, engineering firms, and other organizations supporting Federal Government programs.
- Experience developing and managing strategic accounts with multiple stakeholders, locations, business units, or programs.
- Four-year degree preferred.

- Ability to make effective oral and written presentations to audiences at all levels, including senior executives, Federal officials, contracting personnel, program managers, and industry partners.
- Ability to think strategically while translating strategy into measurable sales execution.
- Ability to work collaboratively across a national organization and influence without direct authority.
- Ability to execute plans on time and within budget while achieving successful business results.
- Extensive travel required.
Pay Details:
The expected salary for this position is starting at $120,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
