As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between. Additional duties will include: Phase 1 -Warehouse and Customer Service A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions. Phase 2 – Customer Relationships and Procurement A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors, and providing world class service. Phase 3 – Account Management and Proactive Sales A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of the business and creating strong customer partnerships. Phase 4 – Leadership and Operations A focus on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy. College and/or University degree Proficient in Microsoft Office software - Excel is required. Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity Positive attitude and results oriented mindset Desire to continuously learn and grow Excellent customer service and organizational skill Ability to work well independently and in a team setting Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates Experience with HVAC products (AC, heat pump, etc.) strongly preferred but not required.
