Are you an experienced strategic People professional who can turn organisational priorities into practical workforce solutions, influence at senior level, and use evidence to shape complex decisions?

We’re looking for a Strategic People Business Partner to join TfGM’s People Directorate. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll provide strategic advice and constructive challenge, shape and deliver people priorities, and lead complex organisational change and strategic People activity.

Your Role

As Strategic People Business Partner, you’ll be the senior People interface for an allocated function, working directly with our Exec team, building trusted relationships with senior leaders while providing independent, evidence-based advice and challenge.

You’ll translate business priorities into workforce, organisational design, leadership, capability, culture, inclusion, and colleague priorities. You’ll use workforce analytics and organisational insight to identify risks and opportunities, lead complex change and transformation, and bring together expertise from across our specialist People teams and wider corporate functions to deliver joined-up solutions.

You’ll have significant experience of translating business strategy into people and workforce plans, leading organisational change and strategic People programmes, and using workforce insight to influence decisions. You’ll combine strong organisational design and workforce planning capability with commercial awareness, sound employment relations knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

A relevant degree or equivalent experience, and MCIPD/FCIPD or equivalent are essential.
