Summary – basic function of the role

Responsible for managing the sales of our strategic business which includes the following verticals: Enterprise Selling, AERO, HLT (heavy lifting technology), DTA and Data Centers. This leader will be responsible for the overall sales, profitability, and strategic direction of these focus areas. They will manager a team of managers as well as individual contributors to help deliver on the objectives.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; evenings and weekends may be required

Location: Remote, US – Must reside in the United States

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement account strategies for increasing sales and profits of Enerpac products with each strategic vertical.
  • Develop and implement account strategies for Enerpac to become or continue to be a preferred supplier within our strategic industries.
  • Develop account programs to include marketing awareness promotions, marketing funds, growth rebates, SKU adds, and e-commerce content to enhance growth.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with key contacts at national account’s corporate office and their Enterprise Selling Teams.
  • Drive ownership and accountability of sellers standard work within Salesforece.com which includes opportunities and visit reports in Salesforce.com.
  • Lead impactful standard work through our ECX (Enerpac Commercial Excellence) program.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts of focus verticals/accounts.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends in national distribution.
  • Work within framework of Corporate policy and all Enerpac’s departments to achieve assigned sales objectives.
  • Responsible for directly managing ~$55M of business.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university in sales or marketing; plus 7+ years related experience in the strategic selling and commercial planning.

Physical Demands

Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee may have to lift tools up to 100 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. This can include occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee can work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time. Will have repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Work Environment

Primary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting but may also be visiting different customers where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. While visiting customers, employee may occasionally be exposed to high/low temperatures, outdoor elements (such as precipitation and wind), high levels of noise, hazardous conditions, poor ventilation, small and/or enclosed spaces, or adverse environmental conditions.
