Strategy Analyst – Management Consulting (Mexico City)
About Client
Our client is a leading international strategy consulting firm that advises established companies, high-growth businesses, and investors on their most important decisions. With a global presence and a strong team in Mexico City, the firm helps clients design and execute strategies that drive growth, transformation, and value creation.
We're most proud of:
- Deep industry expertise that allows us to deliver practical, execution-ready recommendations.
- International exposure, with projects and teams collaborating across multiple countries.
- A diverse team with a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds.
- A flat, open, and collaborative culture built on excellence, respect, and trust.
- Investing in our people's long-term growth, including support for future graduate studies.
The Opportunity
Join our client as a Strategy Analyst in its Mexico City office. You will work on high-impact engagements covering corporate and business strategy, due diligence, investment decisions, and M&A.
- You will solve complex business problems through structured, data-driven analysis.
- You will build financial and business models, market sizing, and analytical tools in Excel.
- You will research markets, competitors, and industry trends, including expert interviews and survey analysis.
- You will turn analysis into clear insights and help present recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- You will develop deep industry knowledge and grow quickly with increasing responsibility.
- You will contribute to internal initiatives such as recruiting, mentoring, and community projects.
- The role follows a hybrid work model based in Mexico City.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in any field (engineering, economics, finance, business, sciences, and others are all welcome).
- 1–2 years of direct experience in consulting, ideally in strategy, transactions, or advisory practices. Consulting experience is a must.
- Exposure to clients in traditional industries is a plus.
- Fluent English (C1 level or higher), as you will work on international projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid case-solving ability.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Resilience in a fast-paced, demanding environment: high tolerance for stress and frustration, and the ability to take feedback and keep moving.
- Energized by variety and new challenges rather than routine.
- Curious, open, and collaborative, with a calm, grounded, and approachable personality.
- Eager to learn and grow in strategy consulting over the coming years (not currently applying to MBA programs).
Work Authorization Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work in Mexico on a full-time basis.
- A valid U.S. visa is strongly preferred for international travel and training.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary.
- Attractive annual performance bonus.
- Hybrid work model.
- Support for future MBA studies.
- A close-knit team culture with regular social events.
- Exposure to international clients and investors from day one.
- A clear path to grow within a flat and collaborative firm.
