Strategy & Transformation Manager

EXPLORE YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE WITH US.

Welcome to Tourlane! We're a tech company on a mission to provide the best experience in travel.

We know that vacation time is precious. Our goal is to help customers discover the world and create lasting memories. That’s why our ambition is to offer the best experience in travel by empowering travel planners to craft extraordinary, personalized journeys that go beyond the ordinary, because we believe life is too short for standard travel.

We provide fully personalized, multi-stop trips to 60 destinations around the world and counting. With over 150,000 travelers in the DACH region, France and the US, we’re on our way to becoming Europe’s, and the World's, leading travel company.

Shape the decisions that define the Future of Travel.

We're looking for a Strategy & Transformation Manager to join our team and help steer Tourlane through its next chapter. Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Transformation and working directly with the COO, you'll own the projects, analyses, and operating rhythms that decide how the company is run - and whether it wins.

This is a hands-on role in a scale-up, not a corporate. You'll be close to all of the departments and leads, the data, and the day-to-day operations - building the analyses, driving the workstreams, and translating strategy into results with impact.

What you'll do:

  • Own the projects that matter: Take end-to-end ownership of two to three of Tourlane's most important strategy and transformation projects - scope, governance, cross-functional delivery, progress tracking, and escalation. Not coordination, not support - full ownership.

  • Drive Strategic Decision Making: Prepare quarterly strategy reviews and ad hoc analyses that shape the decisions leadership actually makes.

  • Support in the operating rhythm: Deliver leadership and board materials on a reliable cadence - agendas, decks, summaries - and run weekly tracking of OKRs and key initiatives across the company.

  • Own the Net Promoter Score: Our core customer satisfaction metric end to end: data collection, analysis, and quarterly reviews with clear insights and trends.

  • Turn data into decisions: Own a recurring business or customer metric end to end. Build the dashboards, surface the insights, and make them land with a senior and executive audience.

  • Work across the org: Partner with every function - Commercial, Product, Tech, Operations, Finance - to unblock delivery, align on priorities, and make sure execution matches ambition.

What you'll bring:

  • A degree from a leading business school or a comparable quantitative programme, with a strong academic record.

  • Experience in strategy consulting, or a similar analytical role in a start-up or scale-up (e.g. Chief of Staff, Strategy Manager, Strategy & Ops).

  • Ownership of cross-functional projects end to end, including progress, risks, and blockers.

  • Hands-on data analysis and reporting — ideally owning a recurring business or customer metric.

  • A track record of turning data into clear insights and dashboards for a senior and executive audience.

  • Experience preparing executive or leadership materials such as decks and review documents.

  • Strong analytical and data skills

  • AI literacy — confident using AI tools to speed up analysis, research, drafting, and reporting.

  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).

Skills we're looking for:

  • Structured Problem Solving: You break complex, ambiguous problems into clear workstreams, sharp analyses, and decisions leadership can actually act on.

  • Project Ownership: You run cross-functional projects end to end - scope, cadence, stakeholders, risks - without needing heavy direction.

  • Analytical & Data Fluency: Comfortable in spreadsheets and BI tools, you turn messy data into clean insights - and know when a number is worth trusting.

  • Executive Communication: Confident deck and presentation building, structured documentation, and the ability to write and speak clearly to a senior audience.

  • AI-Enabled Delivery: You use AI tools fluently to move faster on analysis, research, and drafting - and know where to add the human judgment.

  • Ownership & Startup/Scale-Up Mindset: Flexible, "no box" attitude with a "can achieve" mentality - you own outputs end to end and thrive in fast-moving environments.

  • Discretion & Reliability: Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and handling confidential topics with maturity and judgment.

Why join?

Rare breadth: you work across both strategy execution and the operating model, directly with the Director of Strategy & Transformation and the COO. High visibility, real impact on how the company is steered — and a front-row seat (and hand on the wheel) as Tourlane scales.

What we offer:

  • Flexible working setup to get the most of your working hours: we offer full flexibility in our Hybrid/Remote model, however we do expect that you take advantage of our lively Berlin office 2 days per week.

  • Internal travel discounts and access to travel industry deals/discounts.

  • Annual €600 self-development budget.

  • We share your passion for traveling: enjoy working abroad through our program (5 months per year, inside and outside of EU!)

  • We support all the diverse communities that make us Tourlane: 40+ languages and cultures represented in the HQ.

  • Dog-friendly office: we can't wait to meet your furry friend!
