About Bolt
Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we're just getting started.
Why join Bolt?
Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.
About the roleYou'll partner with the General Manager and local operations teams to drive strategic growth and operational excellence for Bolt Food in the Czech Republic. This means building financial models, optimising end-to-end processes, turning data into actionable decisions, and managing key projects from conception through to measurable results.
As a Strategy and Operations Manager, your goal is to identify, prioritise and deliver improvements across country operations. You will act as the General Manager’s right hand in driving operational excellence, analysis, decision-making and project execution.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Improving operations: Scale and improve country operations by reviewing existing workflows and implementing new ones. Oversee merchant operations, onboarding and content quality. Solve challenges across pricing optimisation, fraud reduction, refund optimisation and delivery performance to improve efficiency, reduce costs and drive order growth.
Data analysis: Provide robust business and data analysis for cross-functional initiatives. Automate and standardise processes wherever possible to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Own and deliver key operational metrics: Drive achievement of country targets through operational excellence and strong performance management. Proactively track, report and act on key KPIs.
Team and stakeholder management: Manage and develop the local operations team, while coordinating closely with other Bolt teams and third-party providers. Build strong collaboration across local, central and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and achievement of KPIs.
Project management: Identify the most important operational challenges and work closely with relevant teams to resolve them. Lead local projects and ensure they are aligned with both Czech market needs and central Bolt Food priorities.
General Manager support: Support the General Manager with analysis, business cases and decision-making on complex operational and financial topics.
About you:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management or a related field.
You have 3+ years of relevant experience in operations, strategy, consulting, financial analysis, business development or analytics.
You are a highly analytical problem-solver, comfortable working with large datasets and translating insights into practical business decisions. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are essential; SQL and BI tools are a strong advantage.
You demonstrate strong ownership and initiative, proactively identifying opportunities and implementing solutions with measurable business impact.
You thrive in a fast-paced, matrix environment and can drive cross-functional projects with strong planning, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
You communicate clearly and confidently in both Czech and English, verbally and in writing.
You are based in Prague or able to work from our Prague office in a hybrid setup.
Why you’ll love it here:
Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.

Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
