** Background – The City Law School is the first in London and University of London to educate students and practitioners at all stages of legal education. The School has made significant advances in both research and education and seeks to build upon that success to become one of the UK’s leading law schools as it takes advantage of the new regulatory landscape for legal education. An opportunity has arisen for a Student Administrator to join us.
** Responsibilities – The Student Administrator will join a team of four, acting as a first point of contact for student enquiries and ensuring accurate, timely support. The role provides administrative assistance across a range of student services and lifecycle processes, including extensions, extenuating circumstances, events, status letters and transcript requests. The post holder maintains student records, supports core administrative processes, and contributes to a high-quality, responsive student experience.
** Person Specification – The successful candidate will be an organised and customer-focused individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to manage a varied workload, maintain accurate records, use IT systems confidently, and handle sensitive information with discretion. The role requires attention to detail, a commitment to excellent service, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of students and colleagues.
