Mentovix supports students with eligibility checks, course comparisons, scholarships, interview preparation, and visa applications. Role Description: This is a full-time remote role for a Student Counsellor supporting applicants pursuing education opportunities in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Ireland. The Student Counsellor will guide prospective students through course and university selection, admissions requirements, scholarship options, and visa processes, ensuring a smooth and informed journey. Daily responsibilities include conducting virtual counselling sessions, assessing student profiles, recommending suitable study pathways, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions and progress. The role also involves responding promptly to inquiries, delivering high-quality customer service, collaborating with internal teams on outreach initiatives, and staying up to date with international education trends and policies. The Student Counsellor will represent Mentovix’s values by providing unbiased guidance, clear information, and consistent support to students and their families.

Job Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance to prospective students on study abroad opportunities, with a primary focus on UK, USA, Canada, Australia & Ireland universities.

• Assess student eligibility and advise on admission requirements, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities.
• Manage student inquiries and leads through phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp communication.
• Assist students in completing and submitting university applications accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with university representatives and ensure smooth and professional communication.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, counselling sessions, and application progress.
• Achieve assigned student recruitment targets and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local agents, schools, university representatives, and student communities.
• Organise and participate in information sessions, counselling events, and student meet-ups.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2-3 years of experience in Student Counselling and Career Counselling, with experience guiding learners on academic and professional pathways.
• Strong Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication in English and active listening skills.
• Solid Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and relationship building across diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of Education systems and admission processes for the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Ireland, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, International Relations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency with digital tools for remote work, such as video conferencing platforms, CRM systems, and document management tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple student cases, and meet deadlines in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in international education consulting, university admissions, or student advisory roles is an advantage.
