Job Description This is a remote position. Student Success Associate — Remote | Chess Gaja We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our global team. Please note that this role requires a 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM IST shift, with a weekly off on Tuesday (Saturday and Sunday are standard working days). We combine world-class chess coaching with structured operations and automation — and we want people who want to grow with us for the long term. What You Will Do Manage parent and student communication via WhatsApp Business and email across global time zones Send payment reminders, class updates, and performance reports on a strict weekly schedule Coordinate feedback between 40+ coaches and parents with accuracy and empathy Maintain 100% accurate records in Zoho CRM — if it isn't logged, it didn't happen Be the first point of contact that makes every Chess Gaja family feel supported and seen Requirements You Will Thrive Here If You have a basic love for chess (1000+ rating on Chess.com or Lichess is a plus — not mandatory) You write professional, polite English fluently — grammar matters here You are comfortable using tools like ChatGPT, Sheets, and Zoho without needing hand-holding You want a long-term remote career, not a 3-month stepping stone You take pride in process, follow-up discipline, and doing small things with consistency You have a reliable laptop, mobile, and 50+ Mbps internet connection at home Benefits What We Offer ₹17,000 – ₹19,000 monthly take-home (Includes a yearly retention bonus as part of the compensation) Note on Retention Bonus: A component of the monthly salary is accrued as a retention bonus and paid out as a lump sum annually upon completion of each year of service During 3 months probation the salary range would be Rs.15,000-17,000 per month 100% permanent remote — no commute required Direct mentorship exposure to a Grandmaster and global operations Hands-on mastery of Zoho One — one of the most in-demand business automation suites A stable, structured team that respects your time and contributions Important Terms (Please Read Before Applying) Working Hours: 5:00 AM to 2:00PM (Note: During the 3-month probation training, you will work our standard day shift of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) Working Days: Wednesday to Monday (Note: During probation training only, the schedule is Monday to Saturday).
