Werkstudent Employment | Legal

Ben je benieuwd hoe het is om te werken in de internationale arbeidsrechtpraktijk van één van de grootste advocatenkantoren ter wereld? Als werkstudent binnen ons Employment team breng je je reeds opgedane kennis en (eventuele) werkervaring in de praktijk en verdiep je je verder in het arbeidsrecht.

De focus van onze dienstverlening ligt op de door ons wereldwijd beoefende kerngebieden: energie, financiële instellingen, infrastructuur, transport en technologie. Ons internationale netwerk biedt zowel aan onze cliënten als aan onze medewerkers een platform voor kennis en opleiding.

Ons Employment-team

Ons Employment-team in Amsterdam adviseert nationale en internationale cliënten over het volledige spectrum van het arbeidsrecht. De praktijk omvat onder meer individuele en collectieve ontslagzaken, reorganisaties, medezeggenschap, arbeidsrechtelijke aspecten van transacties, beloningsvraagstukken, grensoverschrijdende arbeid en arbeidsrechtelijke geschillen. Daarbij werken we nauw samen met collega’s uit andere praktijkgroepen en kantoren binnen ons wereldwijde netwerk.

Werkzaamheden

Als werkstudent draai je van A tot Z mee in het dagelijks werk van ons Employment team. Je ondersteunt bij uiteenlopende arbeidsrechtelijke dossiers, bijvoorbeeld door jurisprudentie- en literatuuronderzoek te verrichten, notities en adviezen voor te bereiden en mee te werken aan processtukken, arbeidsovereenkomsten, beëindigingsovereenkomsten en transacties. Je wordt betrokken bij zowel nationale als grensoverschrijdende zaken en werkt daarbij samen met advocaten binnen het team en met (internationale) collega’s uit andere praktijkgroepen. Daarnaast kun je deelnemen aan werkgerelateerde activiteiten, zoals trainingen en jurisprudentielunches, en aan sociale activiteiten, waaronder kantoorborrels, feesten, skitrips en sportactiviteiten.

Profiel

Kijk jij over grenzen heen, ben je ondernemend en herken jij jezelf in de volgende punten?

• Je zit in de laatste fase van je bachelor of master Rechtsgeleerdheid, bij voorkeur met een aantoonbare interesse in of focus op het arbeidsrecht;

• Je bent minimaal 2 dagen per week beschikbaar voor een periode van minimaal 3 maanden;

• Je hebt belangstelling voor de commerciële en internationale arbeidsrechtpraktijk;

• Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en de Engelse taal (zowel in woord als geschrift);
• Je hebt ambitie en bezit een behoorlijke dosis creativiteit, humor en vasthoudendheid.
