Substation Electrical Protection and Controls Engineer - Senior

About the Opportunity ControlPoint Technologies is seeking a Senior Protection and Control Engineer to provide project support within our Substation Protection and Control Engineering team. Candidates must have direct experience with substation protection and control projects for electric utilities. The projects will range from 4kV to 345kV and the candidate will be client facing and interface with the other disciplines. Technical Responsibilities: One Lines Three Line diagrams AC and DC schematics SCADA/RTU system design Panel layouts and Wiring Bill of Material Development Coordination with other disciplines (Civil/Structural, Substation) Relay Settings experience is a plus Project Engineering Responsibilities: Perform quality control/assurance reviews Project support from scoping to final design and project closeout Construction Support Strong client focus and customer service Excellent communication skills Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is a plus with ambition to obtain Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in electric utility industry Experience in utility substation engineering with focus on design packages Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plus Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Benefits: Salary is just one component of your compensation package; ControlPoint offers the following benefits: Paid Time Off - Flexible PTO policy balancing personal time and business needs. Salary: The base compensation range for this position is based on education, work experience, licensure, and qualifications. Base Compensation Annual Range: $95,000 - $134,000
