Job Purpose

The Business Management Internship Program is designed to identify future leaders and provide them a valuable, challenging, and rewarding opportunity with LP Building Solutions. This program is designed to provide an internship to talented students and to help them grow and develop in their career path. These future leaders will be introduced to the career paths that LP has to offer.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Each participant may rotate through the following functions or pick one to focus:

  • Project Engineering
  • Operations Management/Front Line Supervision
  • Environmental, Health, and Safety
  • Human Resources
  • Finance
  • Quality Control

Potential employment opportunities include:

  • EHS Manager
  • Shift Supervisor
  • Quality Control Supervisor
  • Engineer
  • Reliability Engineer

What do I need to be successful?

The Business Management Internship Program is a 3-month internship aimed at students that have completed 3 years of schooling in one of the following disciplines:

  • Engineering
  • Wood Science/Construction
  • Forestry
  • Business/Leadership
  • Accounting/Finance
  • EHS
  • Human Resources

Individuals with the following will be excellent candidates for this opportunity:

  • An interest in gaining management experience in a manufacturing operation
  • Excellent communication, organizational and relationship building skills
  • Ability and desire to travel to multiple manufacturing locations
