About the Role:

We’re looking for a Summer Intern – Quality Systems & Business Processes on the Quality Assurance Team to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases.

The Insmed Summer Internship Program is designed to give you more than just a glimpse into the pharmaceutical industry—it’s a chance to make a real impact. Over the course of the summer, you’ll gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful team projects, and learn directly from skilled professionals who are invested in your growth.

Our 2027 Summer Intern program is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-week, paid internship. The internship may present opportunities for rotational assignments within the function, and the intern will be assigned goals and objectives that will support the strategic business plan of the company.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a project that improves Insmed’s Quality systems and business processes. You’ll gain hands-on experience with digital platforms, analyze data, and develop documentation and resources that support efficient processes and effective system use.


You’ll also:

  • Document a selected business process and develop a process map with input from the Quality team.
  • Analyze relevant process or system data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop draft user guides, work instructions, or training materials for a selected Quality system or process.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing activities, as applicable, by documenting results and tracking feedback under team guidance.

Who You Are:

You are a current student working on a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.


You are or you have:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to analyze information and summarize key findings.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms

Nice to have (but not required):

  • An interest in Quality systems and the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Where You’ll Work

This is a hybrid role based out of our Bridgewater, New Jersey office. You’ll work remotely most of the time, with in-person collaboration when it matters most.

Pay Range:

$20.00-35.00 Hourly
