About the role As a Seismic Imaging Technology intern at bp, you will collaborate with leading scientists on cutting-edge geophysical research and development. Your work will span advanced seismic acquisition techniques, imaging, data processing, and reservoir characterization. You’ll apply your expertise in digital signal processing, wave propagation, numerical simulation, inverse theory, and digital science to address complex subsurface challenges across exploration, deve lopment and production. Interns are expected to be proficient in modern programming languages and computing platforms and will implement and execute algorithms within bp’s High Performance Computing Center. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Successful interns may be considered for a full-time role within our One Subsurface programme upon earning their degree. One Subsurface is our early careers programme designed to create a pipeline of subsurface professionals. Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028 Current Cumulative GPA Minimum 3.2 On a case-by-case basis, bp may support US Immigration sponsorship for full-time or long - term employment.
