We are seeking a qualified individual to evaluate and support New Model project activities, ensuring supplier parts and processes meet quality and timing requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing supplier processes such as FMEA, PQCT, and MQS; preparing part conformance approvals; providing technical support during tool trials and crises; collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues; analyzing initial part conformance through dimensional testing; assessing supplier capacity planning; and supporting continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related experience, with 0-6 years of relevant experience. Skills required are measurement systems (GD&T, DNT), stamping, welding, CAD (CATIA or similar), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new technologies.
Work entails a hybrid office and remote setup with travel requirements, including potential overnight and international trips, often supporting trial builds and production support.
