The Supplier Quality Specialist supports the qualification, approval, monitoring, and continuous improvement of suppliers providing raw materials, and other outsourced activities. The role ensures supplier compliance with Ecolab quality requirements, applicable regulatory standards, and internal procedures while contributing to supplier performance improvement and risk mitigation throughout the supplier lifecycle.


Right now, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Specialist in Supplier Quality Department.


This is a fix-term contract for 18 months (maternity cover).


What You will Do:


Supplier Qualification & Approval

• Support qualification and approval activities for new raw material, packaging, and service suppliers.

• Review supplier quality documentation, questionnaires, certifications, and technical information.

• Assist in supplier risk assessments and supplier criticality classification.

• Support supplier onboarding and Approved Supplier List (ASL) maintenance.

• Ensure supplier qualification activities are appropriately documented and maintained.

• Supplier Monitoring & Performance Management

• Monitor supplier quality performance indicators, scorecards, and key metrics.

• Assist in periodic supplier reviews, requalification activities, and supplier performance evaluations.

• Track supplier quality trends, nonconformities, complaints, and adverse quality events.

• Support escalation processes for underperforming suppliers.


Quality Issue Management

• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and follow-up activities.

• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action effectiveness verification.

• Coordinate investigations related to raw material, packaging, or service-related quality issues.

• Support CAPA activities associated with supplier performance.


Supplier Audits

• Plan, prepare, support, and participate in supplier audits


Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure suppliers meet Ecolab quality, regulatory, environmental, sustainability, and ethical requirements.

• Maintain supplier records within applicable quality and business systems.


What will You Need:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish.

• Degree in Chemistry, Quality or a related field.

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access), proficiency with ERP systems.

• Proven problem-solving skills and knowledge of problem-solving methods (8D, Ishikawa, etc.).

• Knowledge of ISO13485/MDD/MDR standards.

• Experience in ISO 9001.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational skills, and the capability to manage multiple priorities and subjects simultaneously in a dynamic business environment.

• High level of adaptability.
