Supply Chain Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager to serve as a key business partner and influence decision-making across the end-to-end supply chain. In this highly visible role, you will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, and Accounting leaders to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights that improve profitability, working capital, and overall business performance.

Our client’s office is located in New York City. Candidates based in the New York City area are expected to work on a hybrid schedule, while candidates outside the area may work remotely.

What You Will Do

• Lead financial analysis and reporting across manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning, and explain the drivers behind performance.
• Deliver clear variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year results, with practical recommendations.
• Oversee standard costing and analyze labor, overhead, yield, production, and other manufacturing variances.
• Partner with Operations and Procurement to identify cost savings, productivity improvements, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Monitor inventory aging, obsolescence, valuation, and working capital, and improve visibility through effective reporting tools.
• Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and month-end inventory close activities.
• Build models that evaluate product, customer, channel, category, and SKU profitability.
• Support pricing decisions, new product launches, promotions, commercial terms, and business cases.
• Participate in S&OP and IBP processes, assessing the financial impact of demand, supply, production, inventory, and service-level decisions.
• Prepare management reporting that translates complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Strengthen financial controls, data quality, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities across the organization.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive experience in supply chain finance, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, FP&A, or a related area.
• Hands-on experience with standard costing, inventory accounting, production variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, food, beverage, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing large data sets.
• Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or a comparable platform.
• Power BI or other business intelligence experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and business-partnering skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Credentials

• An MBA, CPA, CMA, or another relevant advanced qualification is a plus.

Compensation

The budgeted base salary for this position is $120,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. The final compensation package will be determined by the company based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
