You will play a key role in developing strategic supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and securing material availability to support production and business requirements.

This position offers an opportunity to combine strategic sourcing and contract negotiation with hands-on operational procurement, while contributing to the continuous improvement of supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and monitor supplier performance KPIs, manage supply chain risks, and address issues related to quality, delivery reliability, capacity, and material availability.
  • Lead strategic sourcing activities and negotiate commercial terms, framework agreements, and long-term contracts with key suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Manage operational procurement, including purchase orders, delivery follow-up, material availability, and resolution of supplier-related issues in line with production requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Production, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with technical, operational, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and procurement data in ERP/MRP systems and continuously improve sourcing workflows, supplier evaluation procedures, and procurement processes.
  • Represent procurement in internal reviews and supplier audits, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and support the development of procurement capabilities, with the potential to grow into a team leadership role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the aerospace industry or another regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in subcontractor or supplier selection, qualification, performance management, and auditing.
  • Hands-on experience with operational procurement, purchase order management, order follow-up, and material availability planning.
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100/AS9120 standards and supplier qualification and audit practices.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and managing long-term supplier agreements.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement process improvement.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T, particularly in machining and special manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience defining and monitoring supplier performance KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

The following qualifications will be considered an advantage:
  • Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry.
  • Familiarity with EASA Part 21G, Part 21J, and Part 145 requirements, including Form 1 documentation, delegated authority, and right-of-access provisions.
  • Knowledge of supplier quality processes such as SCAR, 8D, APQP, PPAP, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Experience with quality assurance agreements, regulatory documentation, and supplier compliance requirements.
  • Awareness of emerging aviation safety and information security requirements, including Part-IS.
  • Previous team leadership experience or the potential to develop into a procurement management role.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work in an international and technically advanced industry.
  • A collaborative working environment with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
  • The possibility to take ownership of strategic projects and contribute to process improvements.
