Supply Chain Manager

UK-based, with travel to suppliers, logistics partners, customer sites and overseas locations as required.

Role purpose

The Supply Manager is responsible for establishing, managing and continually improving the end-to-end supply chain for the company’s equipment and associated components.

The role covers supplier management and supplier quality, inbound logistics, goods receipt, inventory control, materials and production planning, packing, despatch, export compliance and outbound logistics. The postholder will ensure that the correct materials and equipment are available at the required quality, cost and time, and that completed capital equipment is safely and compliantly delivered from the UK to customer and partner sites, particularly in Asia.

This is a hands-on role suited to a growing engineering or technology business. The postholder will be expected both to establish robust systems and controls and to manage day-to-day operational activities.
