Supply Chain Planner

Sven's Island is a New Zealand natural skincare brand built on Manuka. Our products are made in Auckland and sold online and through pharmacies in New Zealand and Australia, online in the United States, and we are about to launch in the United Kingdom. We are a small, organised team that plans ahead and carries stock. We have not had a serious stock-out in over a year.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to keep it that way: materials at our contract manufacturer for every monthly run, and the right stock in every market.

What you will do

- Check sales and stock each working day across New Zealand, Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom, and flag anything drifting outside its planned cover.

- Make sure our monthly purchase orders to our contract manufacturer and suppliers go in on time, and track every order to arrival.

- Work with our operations lead on packaging from China and ingredients from New Zealand.

- Decide, with operations, what ships where and when. Book it with our freight forwarder and set up inbound shipments to Amazon.

- Keep the stock and shipment trackers current and give the team a weekly stock position.

What you bring

- Three to six years in supply or demand planning, inventory or logistics in a product business.

- Experience keeping more than one market or warehouse in stock, and working with freight forwarders and 3PL warehouses.

- Strong spreadsheet skills and a liking for AI tools. We use Claude connected to Shopify, Amazon, our warehouses, Polar Analytics and Xero, and you will use it every day.

- The discipline to deliver four focused hours a day from home.

- Based in Auckland, able to visit our contract manufacturer in Mount Wellington and other local suppliers.

The set-up

Contract role, 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday, hours by agreement. Work from home in Auckland with regular supplier visits. You report to our operations lead. $60 to $80 per hour plus GST, depending on experience. Start as soon as possible.

This suits someone on the way up who wants to own a supply chain across four markets without a full-time week.
