- Review supplier pricing, purchase price variances, and procurement costs to identify potential cost savings, cost avoidance, and process improvement opportunities.
- Support supply chain readiness for new product introductions, including component sourcing, bill of materials (BOM) reviews, material availability, supplier coordination, and production ramp-up.
- Coordinate supply chain activities related to new SKU setup, engineering changes, product revisions, end-of-sale (EOS), end-of-life (EOL), and component obsolescence.
- Work closely with Sales Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, and Product Management to support supply chain execution and customer fulfillment requirements.
- Maintain accurate supplier, material, pricing, and procurement records. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process standardization, reporting, and automation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or supplier management in a technology or hardware manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing supplier performance, sourcing and purchasing activities, and supply continuity issues.
- Working knowledge of NPI processes, bills of materials, inventory planning, component lead times, and product lifecycle changes.
- Ability to evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate commercial terms, analyze costs, and prioritize competing operational needs.
- Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams, and familiarity with ERP or procurement systems.
