Role Summary

One of our clients in the sports and consumer goods industry is seeking a Marketplace Supply Chain Specialist to support the Central Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEMEA) region. This position sits at the intersection of Supply Chain, Commercial, Planning, Analytics, and Marketplace Operations, ensuring products reach key marketplace partners at the right time while supporting critical launches, seasonal transitions, and commercial initiatives.


Project & Team Context

The CEMEA Supply Chain team connects Supply Chain, Commercial, Planning, and Marketplace Execution functions. The team is responsible for enabling successful consumer and sport moments across a diverse regional marketplace through effective coordination, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making.


Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end marketplace supply chain for a portfolio of accounts, products, or consumer moments.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, Planning, Marketplace Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support key product launches, seasonal transitions, and marketplace initiatives.
• Identify supply chain readiness risks and coordinate mitigation plans across stakeholders.
• Analyse marketplace data and reporting to uncover opportunities and improve service levels.
• Influence business decisions through insights and operational expertise.
• Develop subject-matter expertise and support best-practice implementation across the region.
• Drive operational excellence through process simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, or a related business function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using data and reporting to support decision-making.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and international teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with a proactive approach to business improvement.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting marketplace, retail, wholesale, or consumer products environments.
• Exposure to international supply chain operations.
• Continuous improvement or process optimisation experience.
