We are a fast-growing Chinese premium automotive and EV brand building our European after-sales organisation from the ground up and now looking for a Spare parts Supply Chain Working Supervisor.
This is a hands-on working supervisor role for a small team of two. You will be the operational owner of our European third-party spare-parts warehouse near Schiphol. The role covers the full flow: import customs and tax compliance for parts coming from China, goods-in, inventory accuracy, and outbound delivery to distributors across Europe. You will also manage the daily integration between our internal system and the 3PL’s WMS, and work closely with Chinese colleagues on site.
What you will do
- Own the relationship and daily performance of the Dutch 3PL warehouse (inbound inspection, bin management, stock takes, exception handling).
- Manage end-to-end import customs clearance and tax compliance for spare parts from China, including documentation for finance and VAT.
- Drive outbound order fulfilment: issue instructions to the 3PL, monitor picking/packing/transport, and resolve delivery exceptions.
- Keep inventory accurate between WMS and our system; identify and reduce slow-moving and obsolete stock.
- Develop and maintain clear SOPs and track key KPIs (fill rate, on-time outbound, stock accuracy).
- Collaborate with HQ specialists, finance, and European distributors on forecasts, part changes, claims and reporting.
What we are looking for
- Based within a workable commute of Amsterdam / Schiphol — this is a hybrid model of office (Amsterdam) and on site at 3PL spare parts warehouse (Schiphol-Rijk)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the automotive spare parts industry, with hands on experience of third party warehouse management. Prior experience with EU spare parts import & customs clearance is preferred.
- Business level English (fluent in oral & written); Dutch is a strong plus.
- Advanced Excel skills. Practical experience working with WMS and business system integration.
- Solid knowledge of Dutch & EU import duty, import VAT basic rules; familiar with import customs documents and input VAT deduction logic.
- Proven capability to manage third party vendors and drive cross party issue resolution independently.
- Familiar with EU customs compliance requirements; meticulous, risk minded, strong multi task handling capability.
What we offer
- On-Target Earnings (base salary plus a 1-month performance-based On-Target bonus) in the range of €60,000 to €75,000 gross per year
- Travel allowance.
- Pension Plan
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- A hands-on role where you help build the European spare-parts operation of a growing premium brand.
A reference and background check will be part of the selection process.
WE WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM CANDIDATES, WITH AN UNRESTRICTED RIGHT TO WORK IN BENELUX.
