Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality & Manufacturing Engineering

Position Summary

At Solenis, our internship program provides students with meaningful hands-on experience that goes beyond traditional summer work. Interns are assigned real projects that support manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals.

This program is designed to help students apply classroom learning to real-world challenges, develop practical technical skills, and gain exposure to manufacturing operations in a global specialty chemical company.

What You'll Do

· Support safety, quality, productivity, and reliability initiatives.

· Assist with process improvement and engineering projects.

· Analyze operational and production data to identify improvement opportunities.

· Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities.

· Support capital projects, maintenance initiatives, and operational excellence efforts.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain.

· Present project results and recommendations to site leadership.

Qualifications

· Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

· Minimum GPA of 3.0.

· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Legal authorization to work in the United States.

This internship is designed to provide meaningful hands-on experience while helping identify future talent for Solenis Manufacturing and Operations.

High-performing interns may be considered for future opportunities within Solenis, including participation in our Operations Leadership Development Program following graduation.

The program is designed to provide broad exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement through rotational assignments across multiple facilities and business functions. Participants gain experience working alongside plant and corporate leaders while developing the technical, operational, and leadership skills needed for a successful career in manufacturing and operations.

Successful program participants may have opportunities to build careers in areas such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality, Operational Excellence, and Plant Leadership.
