Our client is a global industrial company that develops and manufactures advanced processing equipment and solutions for customers around the world. We are now looking for a Supply Manager to support development projects and manage a supplier base within stainless steel components.
About the role
As Supply Manager you will be responsible for a group of suppliers in machining and castings of stainless steel. You will also support the client’s development projects with supply expertise from an early stage. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in business, service and technology development, as well as with other supplier management functions in the organisation.

Your main responsibilities
- Set and follow up the agenda for your suppliers
- Source, contract and manage the supplier base
- Define and follow up supplier performance
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
- Get involved early in development projects to secure the right suppliers and components
- Experience as a Supplier Manager, Strategic Buyer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of machining, castings or other metal components is a plus
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills
- Structured and proactive, with the ability to drive suppliers and internal stakeholders forward
- Previous project experience is not required, as the project process is clear and easy to follow
- Fluent English, spoken and written
