IT/OT Support Engineer



About the Role

We are looking for an IT/OT Support Engineer to provide remote technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring for complex customer environments.

You'll work at the intersection of IT, OT, networking, software, and security, supporting customers and technical teams to keep critical systems stable, secure, and operational.

You have a strong technical foundation and enjoy solving complex problems remotely. You are analytical, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable taking ownership of technical issues from investigation through to resolution.

What You'll Do

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line remote IT/OT support and resolve incidents.

• Troubleshoot software, networking, and system-related issues.

• Perform remote preventive maintenance and proactively monitor system health and performance.

• Support software upgrades, implementations, and release management.

• Assist with commissioning, FAT and SAT testing of complex systems.

• Analyse logs and system data to identify trends and root causes.

• Coordinate escalations, repairs, and maintenance with internal teams and third parties.

• Accurately document incidents, solutions, and activities.

• Ensure relevant technical information is correctly shared with customers, technicians, and internal teams.
  
  

What You Bring

• MBO Level 4 ICT level or equivalent experience.

• Experience in IT/OT support, IT infrastructure, technical support, or a similar environment.

• Good knowledge of IT, networking, and security technologies.

• Understanding of OT/industrial environments.

• Basic knowledge of ITIL 4 and service management.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive and customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of incidents.

• Good English communication skills.

• German is a plus.
